Centennial HS  3/11
1. Bradford Mills p/inf will be the leader of the team

2. Rives Marshall of started all games last year sign to go to Bryan

3. Brady Weihe of- played all games in the outfield and has good speed

4. Solomon Washington inf/p jr played a ton from last year and has ability to play multiple position

Team Outlook:

Offense: we will be a little slow out of the game just due to experience but I do believe we will improve as the season goes on

Defense: had a lot of guys who got plenty defensive play least year so I think we will be strong there

Pitching: just some non experienced varsity guys and we will need some younger guys to step up and do their jobs

Overall outlook: it will be fun! We don't have a ton of guys who got a lot of playing time but played a lot of games with the junior varsity. That's why defensive I think we will be solid but it may take a little time to get things going offensively. We have a great group of guys who have worked very hard in the off season to get ready for this year! It should be exciting
Dickson County HS  3/11
1Hunter Crosby 2018 Murray State Commit. RHP/CIF 6'4 frame filling out nicely. Will lead our pitching staff.

2 Travis Potter 2018 Catcher. Returning All District C, solid backstop that can play at next level. Needs a chance!

3 Jordan Waynick 2018 2nd Baseman with plus speed! Look for him to be a key on offense with ability to get on base and run.

4 Michael Cunningham 2018 RHP. Returning district starter on bump with plus spin. Competes!!

5 Jett Jackson 2019 RHP/CIF. Highly recruited RHP that will be counted on in district play. 6'4 frame filing out nicely. Will hit in middle of order. Competes!!

6 Colton Thompson 2019 SS/RHP will throw District innings with plus spin. 2 year starter at short with solid approach in box. Will be a steal for some college program.

Offense: MUST put ball in play and rely on small ball with limited power guys on roster. Return 10 guys with 75+ Varsity AB's. Need to be mentally solid with approach vs high caliber arms we see on our schedule!

Defense: Defensively we have played well in preseason with 10 guys returning with Varsity experience. Must be able to minimize our mistakes with what has been a less than average offensive start to 2018.

Pitching: Strong point of club through preseason as we return 11 guys with Varsity experience. Must continue to command FB for strikes. Deep staff that will compete!

Overall outlook: COUGARNATION is looking for a competitive 2018. Strong schedule highlighted by District 11-AAA opponents. Men have worked hard and been very coachable. Hungry Group that wants to perform well in May!!

Antioch HS 2/16
1 2020 Tyler Griffin (IF,ULT,RHP)

2 2019 John Logston (ULT,RHP)

3 2020 Alexander Ruiz (2B,C,RHP)

2018 TEAM OUTLOOK:

Offense: Antioch returns 6 guys in the lineup that played over 60% of the 2017 season. They acquired a sophomore transfer from Florida (Alexander Ruiz) that will add tremendous value in the     heart  of the lineup.

Defense: Solid all around the field. Antioch has a flashy middle infield with solid corners. Lots of speed in the outfield and a split time (2.10+pop) key freshman Cooper Welty behind the plate.

Pitching: Missing their two starters from last year, the Bears will bring their primary relief guys (John Logston and Tyler Griffin) to the forefront of the staff. They are promoting their setup and           short relief pitchers from last year to first calls in the bullpen. Total of 8 inning eaters for the Bears' bullpen.

Overall outlook: After losing 4 seniors including the District Player of the Year, the Bears look to run the top of Metro Nashville's big district. Antioch has a heavy sophomore presence with 5   returning 2020 starters. AHS looks to have a few players in the outfield that top the speed category in Middle Tennessee.
Gallatin HS 2/8

1Matt Bradley Jr. RHP/IF

2 Chase Terry Jr. C/RHP

3Ethan Huddleston Soph SS/RHP

4 Deedric Sweat Jr OF

5 Garrett Griggs Sr 3B/RHP

6 Jarrett Schiavone Jr 1B/C

8 Luke Springer Soph OF/C

2018 TEAM OUTLOOK:

Offense:  After losing 7 Seniors from 2017, GHS will have a lot of unanswered questions on offense. Production will come from Deedric Sweat, LD Garrett, Matt Bradley, Garrett Griggs, Jarrett Schiavone, DH Connor Mesler, Chase Terry, Ethan Huddleston, and Luke Springer. Newcomers Ty Martin, Tanner Park, and Trevor Alexander should add some punch to the lineup.

Defense: Chase Terry and Jarrett Schiavone will share the catching duties. The infield will have Griggs, Huddleston, Park, and Alexander playing multiple positions. The OF will have Sweat, Martin, Mesler, Springer, and Garrett sharing playing time.

Pitching: This team's biggest strength should be consistent pitching with Matt Bradley, Chase Terry, Ethan Huddleston, and Garrett Griggs. Ty Martin is a young .LHP who will provide a change of pace for the Green and Gold.

Overall outlook: 2018 will be a season of gaining much needed experience. Hopefully the team will gel in time for the District Tournament. This group is unselfish and committed to daily improvement! They will be fun to watch!
